Negative Mitzvah 236
It is forbidden to borrow money if interest is charged
Deuteronomy 23:20 "You shall not give interest to your brother"
This Negative Mitzvah cautions the borrower from taking a loan which includes an interest charge (see Negative Mitzvah 235).
Rather, he should trust that HaShem will grant him his needs in a manner permitted by Torah law.
