# Halacha lookup with Shafeh

- **By reference.** Call `texts` with "OC 25:1", "Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah 87", "Mishnah Berurah 25" or "Kitzur 12".
  - In the Shulchan Aruch, the Rama's glosses start with **הגה**. Say which words are the Mechaber's and which are the Rama's.
- **By topic.** Call `texts` with "hilchos tzitzis" (or tefillin, shabbos…). It returns, for each work, the simanim that cover the topic; then open each siman.
  - SA HaRav and the Kitzur number their simanim differently from the Shulchan Aruch, so use the simanim the topic gives for each work.
  - The topic mapping for SA HaRav and the Kitzur is still being reviewed. Say so if precision matters.
- **Quote, then explain.** Quote the se'if in Hebrew, verbatim, then explain it.
  - Keep the `license` line with any quote. Shulchan Aruch HaRav and parts of the Mishnah Berurah are CC-BY-NC.
- **Don't rule.** You are showing sources, not giving a psak. For a practical question, tell the user to ask their rav, especially when the sources disagree.
