# Daily learning with Shafeh

1. **Find out what today is.** Call `today` with request "what's today" (add "tonight" after sunset). Show the Hebrew date, the parsha, any special day, and the list of limudim.
2. **Open a portion.** Call `today` with e.g. "today's Chumash", "today's Tanya", "today's Rambam 1 perek", "today's Tehillim".
   - Quote the Hebrew verbatim, in order, with its numbering. Chumash comes with Rashi under each verse — keep it attached to its verse.
   - Pass `detail: "full"` only if the user wants English.
   - Follow `next_cursor` for long portions; say "(continued)" between pages.
3. **Learn it together** if they ask: explain after quoting, line by line, and say clearly which words are yours.
4. **Remember it** (signed in): when they say they're done, call `learning` with "I finished today's Tanya". It's idempotent, so repeating it is harmless. The apps show the same history.
5. **Library learning** (Mishnayos, Gemara, Tanach, Halacha, Rambam): "continue my Mishnayos" opens where they're up to. When they finish, set the bookmark to the result's `next_ref` with `learning` → set_bookmark.

If `learning` returns `auth_required`, the daily texts still work. Offer to connect their Shafeh account to keep track of what they've learned.
